Sunday 15 September, 12noon – 2pm
Join us this Sunday 15 September for a live piano performance from Channel 4’s The Piano contestant Romy McCahill as part of a fundraising event for music and dementia charity, Playlist for Life.
This free event aims to drive awareness of the services and support the Playlist for Life team provide to both our local community and families across Scotland dealing with dementia, whist helping to raise vital funds.
The free live event will take place between 12noon and 2pm. Guests are invited to enjoy the live music and donate if they can.
Romy’s performance will coincide with the run-up to National Playlist Day, a UK-wide awareness campaign led by Playlist for Life. Launched in 2022, National Playlist Day encourages people to create personal playlists from songs that make up the soundtrack of their lives, which could be used in their care plan in the event they are diagnosed with dementia.
